Biographical Summary
Mr. Ryden is a Human Resources professional concentrating in Organization Development, Leadership Coaching, Career Management,
and human resource management systems since 1978.
He has been a successful independent consultant since 1985 and his experience includes
areas such as management development, supervisory training, organizational change and strategic planning, team building, employee engagement,
performance management, career development, and recruitment ~ selection ~ interviewing processes.
Steve has been a staff consultant for several management/human resource development consulting firms and transition counseling centers.
He also has served as an instructor for the Center for Management Development at Rutgers University and the Corporate Relations and
Training Departments at several NJ/PA Community Colleges.
Steve is also President of Compustar, LLC, a software development firm dedicated to providing online resources for management development.
COMPU Systems for Training Applications and Reinforcement, is the sole distributor of the Management Feedback System™ and is an online coaching process that enables
managers to improve their productivity and the performance of their work groups.
Before working as an independent consultant, Steve served six years with two Fortune 100 corporations as an internal consultant and training specialist
with primary responsibility for supervisory training and management development, needs analyses, program design and delivery, and organization development.
His other experience includes small business operations, line manufacturing, and clinical medical technology.
He is a member of various professional organizations including the Society for Human Resources and American Society for Training and Development.
He has also served various community organizations and Boards such as the Association of Retarded Citizens and Homesharing, both of Somerset County, NJ.
Steve holds a Master of Science in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Rutgers University,
and various program certifications.
He currently resides in Bluffton South Carolina, near Hilton Head and Savannah, Ga.
